- John P Menzies lived at 8 George Street Stratford Ontario. He was employed as a Boiler maker in the CNR shops. He died in his 73rd year.
He started his working career at the old McLeod milling company on George Street in Stratford. He served overseas in the 34 battalion from 1915 to 1917. He was twice wounded and reported dead. When he returned he joined the CNR as a welder on December 16 1918. He was promoted to machinist on March 1 1919. He became a Boiler maker on March 16 1926. He retired on May 9 1949.
