Charlie worked for Remmington Rand Typewriter Company for many years in Hamilton.He and Margaret travelled to Buenos Aires Argentina in 1955 to set up a company for Remmington Rand with their typewriter experience.They were there for several years.
Later years he travelled to Toronto to pick up newspapers and deliver them to outlets in Hamilton.
He and Tip his brother loved to play cards and we had great times at New Years, the noise was deafening.
Charlie was a mild mannered man, he and Margaret had a great marriage. They always wanted to have children, but it was not ment to be.
They took care of their nephew Michael in his teen years, unfortunatly he comitted suicide and it was devestating for the family.They never got over it.
One major project they took on was to move their home from King street in Hamilton to Hixon Avenue in the city.
