Was President of the Stratford Legion in 1962.
This was the beginning of his poor health.

Canadian Immigration sailing details. Charlie arrived in Canada 18/9/1928 in Halifax NS on the Cedric, possibly White Star. His passage was paid for by the Canadian Government, though he was unsure about staying in Canada. Occupation in England was Labourerand was going to be a Harverster on the Harvester Scheme, Winnipeg.He had Lilian Carter, 99 New Cross street St. Helens as next of kin.
